What CommunityLIVE Showed about the Future of Your Workflows
Enterprise teams are under more pressure than ever. The amount of information you manage, store, and process keeps growing, leaving teams overwhelmed and in need of support to lighten their loads. That’s why our team always looks forward to the CommunityLIVE event. It’s our time to go deep into the technology, explore what’s new and changing, and share how we’re helping you ease those burdens.
This year, we came back from the event inspired, and many of our clients did too. We recently gathered to talk about our favorite takeaways, how they impact you, and what’s ahead in the coming months.
Turning Last Year’s Visions into Reality
Some of our team’s biggest takeaways from the event came from the main stage. Last year at CommunityLIVE, Hyland gave us a sneak peek at what was on tap for the future. This year, we got to see those ideas take form.
During the keynotes, we were shown real applications of the Content Innovation Cloud (CIC), Hyland’s AI-powered platform that uses machine learning to turn unstructured documents into structured data. This allows enterprises to more easily classify, analyze, and automate content across connected systems like OnBase.
We saw how CIC, working with other Hyland technologies, can automatically identify document types, extract key information, and generate summaries through intelligent document processing, removing the need for manual setup and review. Hyland also showed how CIC connects with repositories like OnBase and SharePoint through the Content Federation Service, which allows enterprises to synchronize data and speed up workflows across systems.
Bringing Executives into the Fold
Every year, we watch our clients experience exciting new technology in action, but we also know the reality back at the office. You often have to sell it to your team. And it’s difficult to get buy-in if leadership isn’t fully on board. That’s why our team was excited about Hyland’s new executive summit.
We’ve found that getting executives to the table earlier helps them more clearly see the potential of these solutions and the impact on their organizations, which makes adoption much easier. We’ve already seen customers begin post-conference follow-ups to explore the CIC applications highlighted during the event, and we’re very optimistic about the potential changes they can bring to those enterprises.
The Side Conversations at the Event
While the keynotes on the main stage captured plenty of attention, our team was also impressed by some of the side conversations happening behind the scenes. During those discussions, we heard a lot of questions and comments about Agent-Ex from Jadu and Reveille ECM solutions.
Agent-Ex is changing how people interact with information. The technology uses AI to read and respond to natural language questions, searching related documents and other relevant content. It’s voice and mobile friendly, and it’s available in pretty much any language you can imagine. For public-facing organizations, this capability removes barriers that stand in the way of getting information quickly and makes self-service much easier.
Reveille was exciting for a different reason. It provides an administrative view of OnBase system health through more than 60 built-in alerts and dashboards. The ability to diagnose root causes and trigger automated responses, such as restarting a service or running a script, turns what used to be manual and time-consuming work into a much more efficient process.
Outside of the main sessions, our team also enjoyed connecting with customers one-on-one. Those conversations focused on challenges and creative use cases, and they provide the types of insights that help us support you in the future. Because, of course, innovation starts with connection.
What These Takeaways Mean for Your Enterprise
As we wrapped up CommunityLIVE, we spoke with our customers, and many of them were excited about where the technology is headed. Intelligent document processing and knowledge discovery are reducing manual document review and speeding up workflows.
Content federation services provide unified access to data across platforms. And autonomous agents bring everything together, helping complete tasks in a more organized and efficient way.
Changes are happening fast, and if you’d like to hear about them all, check out our recap, where our team came together and broke it all down.
